Step by step

What happens after the first contact

Step 1

First conversation

A free 15-minute call or a Letter Review. We clarify whether German law is involved and what needs to happen next.

Step 2

Clear engagement

You receive a written engagement letter that sets out the scope of our work and the fees, signed electronically through our secure client portal.

Step 3

We handle the German side

Courts, tax offices, banks, notaries and land registries – together with our partner office in Miesbach, Bavaria. Most matters are handled without a trip to Germany.

Step 4

Updates you can follow

Documents and messages go through the secure portal (MyCase). German letters are explained to you in plain English, and we coordinate with your US attorney or CPA where needed.
