I grew up in Munich, studied law in Passau (First Bar Exam), at the University of Cape Town (LL.M., Master of Laws) and in Potsdam (Second Bar Exam), worked for the German Federal Foreign Office in Berlin and at the German Embassy in Colombo, and practised at international law firms in London, Berlin and Munich and at our partner office in Miesbach, before moving to Colorado in 2021.
As a German attorney living in the US, I see every week how lost families feel when German paperwork arrives in an American mailbox.
My job is to make German law understandable — and to take the weight off your shoulders.

My grandfather founded the firm in Miesbach in 1950. Today it is run by my father, Dr. Friedrich E. Hösl, and my uncle, Max-Josef Hösl — I am the third generation of lawyers in our family.
